Everyday Health published an article on fibromyalgia on Jan. 5th, 2012. It listed 5 ways to balance your health needs and fibromyalgia."
1) The first step they advise is to use your computer to connect with people when the pain of fibro won't let you leave your home. Of course we know from TMS healing that this is the worst advice you can give to someone in pain. This actually makes the pain worse by accomodating it, playing right into the brain's covert strategy. You must become more physical when pain strikes and you must never le the pain dictate your day.
2) #2 is not even worth responding to.
3) Bring the fun to you is their suggestion: See #1 above.
4) The article states to "speak up at work." Part of this is correct when it comes to how you feel about certain things, but the other part of speaking up is wrong when it says to speak up and let those at work know you need special accomodations. You don't need that, you are fin physcially, fibro is an emotional process.
5) Making your well-being a priority. This is nonsensical as well since it portrays fibro as an illness, which it is not. Fibro is an effect of deeper needs to be heard. Trying to be nice creates severe anger that manifests as symptoms of pain and fatigue. Fibro is not a disease and should never be referred to as such. TMS healing negates fibromyalgia.
This was a very poor article in every aspect because it connotates a helplessness that cannot be overcome, but must be dealt with.
"If we watch ourselves honestly we shall often find that we have begun to argue against a new idea even before it has been completely stated." - Wilfred Trotter, British neurosurgeon
Welcome to the Pain Deception blog. Feel free to make statements and to ask questions. All comments will be screened for language, and hate. We have enough hate in the world, and it's literally killing us.
This book is intended to help people, but as always, there are many who desire to marginalize the truth because it isn't readily apparent to them, and so they dismiss it because they can't understand it. The process I speak of in my book works, has worked, and will continue to work for millions of people.
It's best to ask questions than to quickly dismiss something. In preparation for this quandry I made the #1 statement on my site under "Absurd Rejections" as people confusing this TMS process with "accidents." And--I guessed correctly. The first rebukes have already been coming in, "he's trying to say everything we get is all lumped into one thing, even accidents." Of course I never said that or hinted at it. I explicitly stated the opposite.
This is not an anti-doctor book, in fact we desparately need good doctors. I hope to work with physicians, and several have already asked me for books so they can look into the TMS process. Good luck SteveO
